Swimming Lessons

We all love our weekly swimming lessons at the Muttaburra Aquatic Centre...lovely new pool & facilities we are very very lucky to have such a great water hole. Our lessons are at lunchtime on Sundays & Toby is first up followed by Polly. There are 3 to 5 in each lesson, so everyone gets a quick play with other kids while we wait. Polly snacks a lot beside the pool & I cannot take my eyes off her or else.....splash, one overboard!!!

Chinese New Year - Year of the Tiger

We travelled up to Townsville last weekend for Chinese New Year celebrations with our Adoption Group....lots of fun with great food & dragon dancing. Toby loved the fortune cookies

and much to our horror wanted a plate of hot chips.....can you believe it!! He did however try the chicken & corn soup, which was "okay". He usually loves noodles & rice at home, must have been all the excitement & people that put him off his food. He was spotted several times with a gorgeous little blond.....

Birthday Boy Turns Four Today

The Birthday Cake requested was a snake.....can you believe it!! It was the best I could do with minimal resources i.e. No access to shops due to ongoing "big wet" for decorations etc. Thankfully Gran stashed some jelly beans in with the birthday parcel..YAY for Gran!

And Toby washed up for me after the cake was eaten.....a budding star in the kitchen I hope!

A small experimental video.....our video camera crashed (or the new battery did) so resorted to camera video which seemed to work well enough. Hope to improve the movie director in me.

As you will see & hear, 4 fingers means 3 & when mum says another one we add another finger....these Taiwanese sure do interesting mathematics!!
