More Rainy Days

Toby driving his car around the playroom during the wet......too muddy for outdoors at present

A piece of garden sculpture that David made last year, survived the cyclonic conditions last night . No doubt the poor tree limb it hangs off has been comprimised a tad.

We had 4 inches of rain last night & cyclonic conditions, was quite scary the roar of the wind & wondering what was being blown away. It was all part of ex-tropical cyclone Olga & her passage south. Looks like we are hemmed in again for a while.

Miss Sweety Pie Walks

Hooray !!! Polly has joined the vertically challenged at 10 months, clever thing.

A Helicopter Visit

We were very lucky to have a helicopter drop in yesterday with some food supplies, what a treat, not that we were had run out, but more of a top up. It could be a while until we can get out to replenish our stores. Toby was very excited as he had a small helicopter from Christmas, so he rushed outside with it to compare to the real thing. Almost 14 inches of rain in the past week, still very soggy & boggy.

More Glorious Rain

It is amazing what the rain brings to the soil & plants, everything is lovely & clean & the garden & pastures are growing like mad. What a change from a week ago. Toby is taking advantage of his "Mud Larking" adventures & has been busy ploughing up the house yard with vehicles. When it dries out I will have to organise a road & surface patching job for him so we don't all break our ankles as we stroll around the yard.

She who Stands Alone!!

Look at Polly, she just pops up to stand at the drop of a hat, how clever.

Rain Rain Wonderful Rain

New Years Eve & some lovely rain fell on us, in fact 236mm in one day. The creeks were flooded,
some roads damaged & lots of fences down.....but hay it finally rained. Now we can sit back on watch some green grass grow for all the stock to eat. Toby loves playing in the mud, so after a day in the house we let him loose in it.
